Fundación Cóndor promotes sustainable development in the communities of the Puna Salteña. The Eco Puna program seeks to promote ecological practices and projects that strengthen environmental education and generate sustainable income, helping to preserve the natural environment, as well as to preserve and improve the environmental quality of the territories inhabited by the native communities of the Puna Salteña.
Through high-impact direct actions, the valuation and conservation of natural resources will be promoted, while seeking to reduce the environmental footprint, making visible the social and economic impact associated with it.
GIRSU Estación Salar de Pocitos is based on 5 essential points:
Diagnosis
It focuses on identifying the waste generated by the community. In addition, the predisposition of the community to participate in waste management campaigns was highlighted.
WASTE MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
They include a series of educational workshops aimed at two groups: first the elementary school and high school, and second local entrepreneurs, with the purpose of promoting environmental awareness and education.
iINFRAESTRUCTURE
Includes the construction and placement of “green points” for waste separation and the creation of a space for recyclable materials.

Active participation is encouraged through recycling and cleanup events.
mONITORING AND EVALUATION
The impact of the implemented actions is continuously monitored, making the necessary adjustments according to the needs and proposals of the community.
